Celebrate love in the heart of Somerset! Steph & Jason’s sun-kissed September wedding took place amidst the stunning countryside at Worthy Farm, with the iconic Glastonbury Pyramid Stage as their breathtaking backdrop

If you want a Somerset, festival styled wedding, there really isn’t any better location than a Pennard Hill Farm wedding with their Tipi for hire throughout the summer months.

Steph & Jason said their I do’s with the pyramid stage as their backdrop before gathering at the front of the tipi for cocktails, canapes, food and dancing for the rest of their day.

Most know me for being a Welsh Wedding Planner and coordinator, but I travel all over and love the chance to explore somewhere new, meeting new suppliers and love the fun of planning in a new venue for the very first time!

Arriving the day before to set the scene working with Virginia Vintage Hire, we set the wedding Tipi ready for day. The stationery was by one of my close friends, Fran at Hunter Gatherings and featured watercolour images of the tipi, wellies filled with flowers and the table plan named after each festival the couple had attended.

The weather was very much on our side on the wedding day. All the family had been able to stay in their on site cottages and farm house the night before, once everything was ready it was just a short walk down the lane to arrive at the most perfect outdoor wedding ceremony spot.

Food on the day was all cooked and served by the on site team headed up by Tom Godberford featuring a beautiful 3 course sit down meal, evening pizza’s cooked in their outdoor kitchen at the Tipi and breakfast rolls and coffee the following morning for all the glampers!
